Correctional facilities have a lot of people in a densely-packed space, making isolation impossible. They also have a lot of stuff coming in and out. This makes them vulnerable simply because of the way they are built. Nursing homes are facing the same problems. It’s not intentional, it’s just a lot harder to keep people safe in that sort of a building. This is awful enough without insinuating that people are attempting to kill prisoners by introducing COVID to the population. Mike White your is interesting. Criminals and Felons are devoting their own lives to the process of Justice, as we are abiding the I’m not the sweet girl next door I’m the crazy heifer down the street shirt. What they did was illegal, but as persons, they cannot be illegal. I suspect, if the franchise was given to the incarcerated, they would, in turn, feel more as members of society and be less inclined to strike back against society in the self-harm of criminal activities. Lol, the comments are too funny. Aren’t these people late for a trump rally or klan barbecue? Lots of comments from people that haven’t been incarcerated or know anyone that has. Most people in jail are there for nonviolent offenses such as drug possession simply because they can’t afford to bond out. Given the resources, they would be on the street. Grow up and stop being afraid of everything. I thought I read somewhere that some of the sexual offenders that were released have repeated their offenses once outside. Is there any proper vetting on which prisoner should be released? So they can turn around and immediately te-offend? I didn’t see any action from the ACLU/Soros about the Texas woman sent to jail because she had to feed her family. That judge is nothing but a racist! Sorry for the animal. John Lawrence Stafford forgives me. Put them in their own cells, where they can properly social distance while not being released to commit more crimes earlier than they are supposed to be.
